What type of computer is required to run Orion?

Orion runs on most machines running Microsoft Windows 10 and 11 operating systems.

Do I need to buy a new computer to use Orion Scoring System?

In most cases, the answer is no; however, although your existing computer may meet our minimum requirements listed above, there is a chance that your computer hardware may still be insufficient. This may cause undesirable performance issues when using the Orion Scoring System. Please refer to your computer manufacture's specifications regarding your machine's configuration.

If you do need to purchase a new computer to use the Orion Scoring System, we have found that many of our customers are able to simply walk in to a local big-box-store and purchase a laptop within the $400-$500 range. Generally, these machines should be capable of running up-to-date versions of Orion for about 3 years when the computer is used solely for Orion Scoring System.
