BB Gun Athletes: 3 Tips to Get the Most Out of the Season

BB Gun Athletes: 3 Tips to Get the Most Out of the Season

BB Gun season is here, and the road to Rogers, AR starts today. Are you ready for the journey? To get started, here are three tips from Scopos to help you get the most out of your BB Gun season.

Tip 1: Train at home with Orion at Home (now free)

The “secret to success” in shooting is no secret. It’s actually quite simple: work hard and train regularly. There is no need to limit your training to just visiting your club. Training at home is a great way to get lots of extra practice cycles and be ready for your next competition.

With Orion at Home you can use the same software to score and track your practice targets as you use in competitions. Perhaps best of all, last year Scopos made the Orion at Home license free. Now every athlete has the opportunity to score targets electronically and track their scores online.

Tip 2: Track all of your scores with Scopos’ Score History

Whether competing or training, did you know you can get all of your scores delivered to the palm of your hand? With Scopos’ Score History and your mobile phone you can track every score you shoot and view them on Scopos’ Rezults. Regardless if you shot at your club’s range, at home, or visiting another club.

To get started, athletes need to sign up for a free Scopos account. Athletes under the age of 13 need their parent's or legal guardian's approval to create the account. If you created an “Orion Mobile Account” last year,  this is the same thing, and you already have access.

Then, when you train at your club’s range, train at home, or compete, give your email address you used with your Scopos account to the match director and have them link your account in Orion

Finally, open rezults.scopos.tech on your mobile device, log in, and view your Score History.

Tip 3: Participate in the Monthly Virtual Matches

Need some extra competition experience? Scopos’ offers a virtual match BB Gun event each month as part of our Monthly Virtual Match series. The BB Gun event is a 4x10 course of fire. The event is free for individuals and teams to enter using their Orion for Clubs or Orion at Home software license.
